The "lycée" Jean Mermoz offers different industrial vocational trainings corresponding to the following careers : Electricity , Digital technology , Servicing.
The trainings provided correspond to the level of the Baccalauréat Professionnelwhich is the qualification required by companies. .
Students are taught subjects which are adapted to the current and current and future realities of the industrial sector.
During the second year , called classe de première the pupils get a diploma calledCAP or BEP.
Thanks to a partnership with companies our students' knowledge and insertion in the world of work are favoured.
Training periods within the companies are very important and necessary. Over the three-year course, pupils have a training period of 22 weeks in a company, supervised by their teachers. After the "baccalauréat professionnel", it is quite logical to start working however more and more students decide to continue their studies and to attend a 2-year post-A-level course (BTS).
Admission requirements :
Admission to the first year (seconde professionnelle) depends on the choices and on their ranking completed the year before. The Academy Inspector is the one who can decide and give the admission result to the school.
